Frohe Fruhling im Dresden

These are just a couple of photos from the past month and the beautiful area we have been blessed to live in. Spring in Germany is one of the most pleasant seasons here.

The girls and I participated in a community wide clean up along the Elbe River, we were with our Girl Scout troop and working with the German Red Cross. Also there that day was Deustche Post and, we found out later...Global Foundries! I asked some folks from GF if I could take their pic and it turned out to be the head-honcho of the Dresden plant. She was very nice and gracious about it. When I came home I told Ron I had asked a couple from GF for their pic and when he saw who it was he about died... Our clean-up project actually began with a bugle call. There were over 200 people there working on our side of the river, it felt really good to give back to the community. Some choice items we found were a tent stake, baby bottle nipple, salt shaker and half of a shoe...

Having received a new camera for my birthday -I take it with me everywhere, you never know when that perfect picture is going to happen.
